Part Description

The TighTails subframe for the Yamaha R6 offers an extra rigid seating platform. Built from 6082 Aluminum and heavy duty TIG welds make the extra strong/lightweight subframe possible.

Side-by-side comparison! The Stock subframe is cast magnesium which is 33% lighter than cast aluminum. In exactlythe same applications, magnesium is stronger and lighter. The TighTails subframe is designed using tube aluminum vs a cast design. This makes the subframe heavier than its stock counterpart but stronger.

The battery tray will require trimming to allow to fit into the subframe—more details to come in the future.
